After success in Germany, the Netherlands follows up with the release of the single “Make It Better” from Nashville based band High South!
The powerful song ‘Make It Better’ is the first single from the upcoming album Peace, Love and Harmony, which will be released in March, and also serves as a mission statement for the band. “We are positive guys. We want to convey a positive message and we truly believe that together we can make it better, “said Jamey Garner, Kevin Campos and Phoenix Mendoza – the 3 members of High South.
The single has been released in Germany since November and now plays very well on the major radio stations.
“Make It Better” will be available in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg from all major download and streaming portals from Friday 7 February!
With their impressive vocal harmonies and relentless optimism, High South has developed a dedicated following in both America and Europe, where they have been touring regularly since 2015.
Their sound can best be compared to classical rock / folk bands such as The Eagles, Doobie Brothers and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
To continue that iconic 70s atmosphere, High South collaborated on this album with producer Josh Leo, known for his work with Glenn Frey, Nitty Gritty Dirty Band, Jimmy Buffett and Kim Carnes.
Engineer Niko Bolas (Niel Young, Don Henley, Warren Zevon), guitarist Jack Pearson (Allman Brothers Band), keyboard player Tony Harrell (Flying Burrito Brothers), drummer Nir Z (Genesis) and singer Raul Malo (The Mavericks) also collaborated on this album.
For this year there are several European gigs booked!
