In 1991, Dutch singer Dennis Jones signed a record deal with Red Bullet and achieved a hit in the Dutch Top 40 with a reggae cover of Neil Young’s “Heart Of Gold”. At the time, this resulted in a lot of radio airplay and various TV appearances in, among others, Veronica’s “Nederland Muziekland” and RTL’s “5 Uur Show”.
From the soon to be released album ‘Heart Of Gold – The Red Bullet Years’, featuring everything Dennis recorded for Red Bullet at the time, there is now a brand new single with 2020 remixes of ‘Heart Of Gold’, for which the original multitracks have been used. .
The remixes were provided by the internationally renowned Matt Pop, known for remixes for Ace Of Base, Kim Wilde, Sinitta, Samantha Fox, Erasure and by KTP (known from Jody Bernal, among others), who turned it into a summer reggaeton version. .
“Heart Of Gold – The Remixes” is available from July 24, through all major download and streaming portals!
