The Palingsound (an expression made up by Willem van Kooten) has been a well known concept in Holland for more then 50 years now!
From The Cats to BZN to Jan Smit and Nick & Simon. Whole generations grew up with the music from Volendam.
Due to the big succes during the first Theatre tour “50 years Palingsound part 1”, a sequel was inevitable and The Mon Amour Band is currently touring the country again with the new show “50 jaar Palingsound deel II”, to once again uncover the secrets of the small fishing village of Volendam!
